Mulching the maincrop garden

Mulched up the maincrop garden today. It's true, we do live in heaven.

I mulched up a little bit of left over garlic from last season, but mostly the straw was just to slow the grass down so I could transplant garlic into the same rows and sow more seeds.

Meanwhile, Lisa weeded a bed in the kitchen garden and picked some broccolini for tea, yum.

Built a new Chook Tractor - The Chookalautl

We got given a couple more roosters so I had to build another chook tractor. Knocked it up in an afternoon. Here it is - The Chookalautl (it has a kind of Aztec look).

Now PJ and Roger Moore have new homes and the girls are very happy!
